Day Trip to Monterey January 2009

SO Ryan and I went to MOnterey last Friday adn had a BLAST!!! We went to the aquarium first, had a bite to eat at a little cute cafe, took a tandum bike out for a ride, AND of course we stopped at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for some Caramel Candied Apples. The apples were amazing to say the least. I love living in the Bay area because everything is so close to us. It was nice to be able to go to Monterey and come back home the same day.

AlcaTraz!!!

AlcaTraz!!!

SO here we are on our alcatraz trip. We met up with my parents and really had a great time. I only wish we were able to stay a little longer.. Ryan and I had to hurry back for his soccer game, but either way it was very interesting and something I have always wanted to do.

This past summer was full of fun and exciting times including my best friend getting married. Brittney was so funny when Ryan and I went to get married, she kept saying it seemed too fast. What do you know, she got married twice as fast as I did! I am way excited for them, I only wish they lived closer...

This summer we had some fun adventures, one of which included the beach of course. At one particular beach there is an old war ship that is beached. Ryan and I had a great time checking it out. We also flew our kites and read our books on the beach. It was a beautiful day.

This was a fun night. I came out to visit in Elk Grove and to help my Mom with the ward Halloween party that she was in charge of. Even though she didn't have a commitee to help her with it yet, she had her family there. It was great, Shawn and Brittany were there, and yes shawn is wearing his scout uniform from when he was 13 years old. Dad looks crazy as usual, and mom and I went as pirates. Saydi and Steven came later and unfortunately I don't have pic of them with Joseph...

Halloween 2008!

Ryan and I dressed up as presents, Zach and Kira were King and Queen (believe it or not she sewed their costumes), and Jesse and Cat were ninjas (in this pic Cat is no longer in costume). We had an absolute blast. we made haunted gingerbread houses, played a murder mystery game, and made some random looking costumes for Cat and Jesse's dog Pupface Killer.

All because two people fell in LOVE...
