10 Things I Miss About Ry

  • His big smile that greets me when he comes home
  • The way he makes dinner when I'm too busy to do it myself
  • Snuggling
  • I miss hearing him sing in the shower in the morning
  • Our evening and morning walks together
  • Our silly conversations that only make sense to us
  • Watching him walk around the house with head phones in while listening to the lastest book he's obsessed with
  • Hearing him tell me about his next BIG IDEA (I swear it changes ever month... no joke I love it)
  • I miss him making me go to bed early.. hence I'm still up right now.
  • The way he acts like my own personal furnace at night when our house is FREEZING.

I MISS YOU RYAN!!! Only 3.5 weeks left of my seperation anxiety and then we'll get to be together all the time again. Oh, Happy day!

Tahoe November 2009

I love how making smores in the hotel room fire place is our idea of camping!

So, Ryan and I needed a little get away. Of course one of our favorite places, ever since we spent our honeymoon there, is Lake Tahoe. We had a blast roasting marshmallows in our hotel room (that's my idea of camping), walking on the beach & taking fun pictures, shopping, going to our favority pizza place, and ice skating. Ryan and I stopped at our favorite pizza place and Ryan ate like a King! He man handled that pizza and it was nearlly gone by the time I finished my one slice. Ice skating was fun too, the rink wasn't too busy but everyone that was there was with their families. I love that. It was so nice to be there during the off season; everything was so quiet and peaceful. The Lake... Beautiful... need I say more?!

Life is crazy, But we keep LOVIN IT!

So.. Ryan and I are living apart during the weeks still, but thankfully that will all come to an end in about 6 weeks! I can hardly wait :) One plus is that our weekends are always a lot of fun and we make the most of the time we do have together. We are adjusting to owning our first home. We are realizing how much taxes, utilties and the most shocking was how much out water bill costs! Ouch! We are definately still loving it. Coming from our little studio apartment in San Jose, our house feels HUGE, and we have a lot of empty walls and space to fill. But, as Ryan continues to remind me when I feel an urge to buy a nice dining table, or whatever else, that we are not in any hurry to fill in these empty gaps. Amazing how different men and women are sometimes....

Anyways, this past weekend Ryan and I had a blast hanging out with Shawn, Brittany and friends. Ryan and I dressed up as a couple from the past. I am 80's and I think Ryan would fall somewhere in the 70's era. We found our costumes at the DI for super cheap. When I saw the puff sleeves I knew i needed to have that dress, and Ryan's Fro, (we borrowed it from my dad) completed his costume perfectly. Enjoy the pics!
