Too Cute...

Avery is as fun as ever. She is such an explorer crawling around and getting into absolutely EVERYTHING! Which, makes life a little difficult as we have neglected to start baby proofing the house until now. Avery is no longer going to bed or taking naps easily as she did before. Instead of laying down easily and taking her naps, she rolls over, sits up and gets herself into standing position in the crib and simply cries continuously until we come and get her. However, we still can't complain too much because otherwise she's has been and still is a pretty easy baby.We love watching her grow! And thanks for the super cute outfit Matt & Marisa! We love you guys!

What are the Odds???

So, what are the odds that my husband becomes good friends at work with a guy who we later find out is the husband of a friend of mine from High School???? Who would have thought? It's definitely been tons of fun having Rob and Cindy to hang out with, and not to mention Avery LOVES them. Here are some fun pics from our hiking trip to Horse Tail Falls.

Avery and Rob are BFF's. Rob even let her drink from his water. (She loved that)

Summer Lovin'

So this is a picture I took in Carmel a couple of years ago. Isn't it amazing how beautiful this world really is! We love and miss the Beach. We definitely need to make a beach trip soon... its really a shame that its not as close as it use to be to us, but I guess we didn't even go that often when it was. Just goes to show how we don't appreciate something until its gone.

Family shot in front of the Temple after my cousin Byron and his wife Christina were married. We are so happy for them and truly just love Christina. She fits in perfectly.

FOUR YEARS!!!!!!
Can you believe its been four years??? Ryan and I have officially been married for four crazy and amazing years! We went to a River Cats game (in the pic above) for an early celebration and little Avery came along. We had amazing seats (that we got for free) and Avery loved all of the attention everyone around her was giving her. No one could help but notice her with her excited noises and big smiles. It's funny because on our actual anniversary this year, Avery and I left for a family reunion up at Pine Crest Lake and shared a bed with my sister that night and Ryan was at home by himself that evening... poor guy. June 29th 2007 was our special day and it's amazing how much we've changed and grown together. Our relationship is something I could only have imagined and I feel so blessed to have such an amazing husband. I love you RY!

Curtis is so great with Avery... and Avery Loves him. Sometimes he'll hold her and look through a book with her and she loves it!
Could this face be any cuter????!!!! I know I'm biased, but truly I think she gets cuter and cuter all of the time! She is growing so much and it's so fun to watch her as she reaches new milestones in her life. This past Sunday was a big day because she FINALLY began CRAWLING!!! She's our little explorer, always moving about and checking everything out, and of course putting everything in her mouth :).

JIMMER!!!!!!!

So.. Pretty sure up until about last week I could not have cared any less about whether or not the Kings were going to stay in Sacramento or go down South... but now all of that has changed. My Mom informed me that the Kings signed Jimmer who will be playing this next season in the NBA... which means that the Kings fan club probably just doubled in size and our family is part of the new fan club. We could not be more EXCITED! We can't wait to see how he does when the season starts.

Trip to San Diego....

Last month we took a trip to San Diego. Ryan HAD to go for work and Avery and I HAD to go to tag-a-long! We had tons of fun hanging out with our good friends Nate & Erin and their new little guy Scott. We were out there during some of the high school's spring breaks so we also were lucky enough to get to see Ryan's younger siblings Ashlyn and Landon and their Dad while we were out there. Sailing with Nate and Erin was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The weather was perfect that day and Avery was able to have her first experience on a boat.

While Nate and Ryan were at work during the day, Erin and I (with our little babies) got to play. There were a few...- could this get any worse?- moments as we spent an hour and a half in the parking garage taking care of our babies' needs before we went to run some errands and get lunch. That's right an hour an a half!!!! 2 hungry babies, 2 poopy diapers, 1 Really bad Blow Out = 1 1/2 hours in the parking garage.  Crazy huh? But for the most part the Babies were Angels and we all had a great time hanging out together. I loved cooking withe Erin, she really makes some of the most amazing dinners, and I love that we both have a sweet tooth. It was fun getting cupcakes, frozen yogurt together! One day, one day, we'll HAVE to live close to Nate & Erin. Here's a fun video of Avery meeting little Scotty!

Attempt #2. We're trying Blogging Again!

So in light of the fact that I am seriously contemplating getting rid of my facebook (very soon), has caused me to reconsider blogging again. So, here we are starting out fresh. A ton has changed in our lives since my last blog post.

Here is a small list of the few major changes:

1.) Ryan and I are PARENTS!!!! Our little Avery wa
s very appropriately born on Labor Day of Last year. Sh
e is now 7 1/2 months old and is as fun as EVER!

2.) I graduated from SJSU last May and am enjoying the life of being a stay at home mom.

3.)Curtis...  We met Curtis at church and he is a great young man.  We have him over often and spend lots of time with him. He's become a huge part of our lives and we are excited to have him around so much.

Our new kitchen addition....

Our new kitchen addition.
Front View

Back View

Ryan & I really needed an island for our kitchen as counter space was limited and the big empty gap in the middle of the kitchen was somewhat of an eye sore. Well, after Ryan and I returned from Hemet to celebrate Christmas with his family my parents had surprised us with this beautiful kitchen island. The island used to belong to our neighbors and after my parents bought it from them, my Dad fixed it up and put a new piece of black granite on for the counter top. It could not have turned out better. We absolutely love it. Thanks Mom and Dad!!!
